Damage is the amount of protection a tank loses when hit by a shot.

Settings

Show Damage

To see the amount of damage you have dealt to an enemy tank, or how much health you have restored to either yourself or your ally, you can enable the Show Damage option in Settings.

Note: You can only see the amount of damage/heal that you inflicted on others or yourself. You cannot see other player's values.

Friendly Fire

In a battle with Friendly Fire is enabled, it is possible to inflict damage upon teammates. However, Mines have no effect on allies and Isida can only heal allies.

Variations in Damage

Each turret does different types and amounts of damage which depend on the level of the equipment and range of shot.

Consequently, each hull can withstand different amounts of damage before it gets destroyed. The lighter and lower the level of hull, the less protection it has.

Some turrets, such as Twins and Railgun deal random amounts of damage within a certain range, while others, such as Isida, have a fixed amount, and Freeze always inflicts the same amount of damage at the same range.

Damage dealt to the enemy be increased by activating Double Damage or decreased when attacking an enemy with active Double Armor.

Besides, certain paints may contain Spectrum.png protections towards Turrets and even Mines. The damage dealt will be reduced by a factor corresponding to the resistive value of the paint towards the agent that dealt damage to.

Damage Types

Normal damage
Destruction

Normal Damage

The amount of normal damage dealt to an enemy player is displayed in white.

When an enemy is destroyed, the amount of damage which amounted to their destruction is displayed in red.

Tip: Experienced players often acount the amount of damage already dealt to an enemy, then judge the amount of shots required to destroy it for obtaining a frag.

Critical Damage

See also: Smoky

Critical Shot

One special feature of Smoky is that there is a small but significant chance of it inflicting a Critical Shot on an enemy. Unlike normal damage, Critical shots yield a greater amount of damage (around twice the normal amount) and it does not decrease with distance.

The probability of dealing a Critical shot increases upon a successful normal shot. It is reset whenever a Critical Shot occurs, or the player respawns. The rate at which the probability increases depend on the level of the Turret as follows:

M0 M1 M2 M3
8
12
15
20

Thus, it is guaranteed that Smoky M3 takes no more than 5 shots for a Critical shot to occur, while the M0 variant may take as much as 13 shots for one to occur.

The amount of damage dealt to an enemy by a critical shot is displayed in golden yellow.

Healing

Healing

In addition to dealing damage to enemies, you can also restore the health of your own tank using a Repair Kit and allies with Isida.

The amount of health restored to the player by Isis' healing is displayed in green.

Experience

Main article: Experience

In matches involving teams, dealing damage to an enemy will give experience and score when the enemy is eventually destroyed. In Deathmatches, destroying an enemy is the only way to obtain experience.

You can also gain Experience by treating allies with Isida, but the amount of experience gained diminishes upon prolonged healing.
